Meet the Pastor Dear Friends in Christ:
Praise the Lord! Thank you for visiting our website. I hope you will worship with us this Sunday. I am proud to serve Longtown United Methodist Church and this community. From the moment I drove into the beautiful Yadkin Valley, this community felt like home.
I grew up in the foothills of the North Carolina mountains. My childhood church, First United Methodist Church in Marion, formed me as a young Christian. It was in those classrooms and worship services that I first devoted my life to Christ and learned what it meant to follow Christ.
When I was 29 years old, I accepted the call to full-time Christian service and graduated from Candler School of Theology at Emory University with a Master's of Divinity in 2005.
My previous church experience includes serving as Christian Educator at Montmorenci United Methodist in Candler, NC and Director of Children’s Ministries at Embry Hills United Methodist Church in Atlanta, GA.
